Does anyone know of a good psch and marriage Dr. Have a 14 year old girl with severe autism. Has severe Sensory, speech and compulsive disorder.
Parent not gertting any sleep because of the child rubbing her hands and feet on floor in bedroom until their blister and bleed. Alot of high compulsive order screaming for hours. Did all treatments in the past, doesn’t work.
At my wits end.

I love Sylvia Johnson at Pediatric Patners in So. Temecula. She has a child with sensory processing issues and is very aware of how difficult doctors appointments can be for us! She is also very open to exploring alternative therapies with you, if interested. I don’t think I will ever forget talking to her at 9pm at night about Methyl B12 injections……

We’ve also had great experiences with Dr. Bruce Baker here in Temecula. I love the assistants there. They are all so good with children and try to make it as “fun” as possible. They have balloons to give out and also have video games and a tv in the waiting room. I did hear from another mom that there has been an issue with wait times (it hasn’t been an issue for us) so it’s probably best to try to get the first appointment of the day if possible or try to speak to the receptionist about the best time to come.

We have had great experiences with Dr. Bob Sears up in Capistrano Beach. He does follow the DAN protocol. One of the best things about him is that most of the tests and things will be covered because he works as a pediatrician. You just have to file your own insurance claims (his office shows you how) unless you are military and have triwest.
