One of the main goals of our website is to share important information for parents of children with autism. We have put together some helpful information for parents and we want to share it with you. We will be adding pages dedicated to local specialists shortly, including Speech Therapy, Family Law, Biomed Options and more.
We also have many books available via our ONF Lending Library. Please click above under “Resources” for a listing of books and DVD’s available!
First, the Inland Empire Autism Spectrum Disorders Resource Guide. This was compiled by the Inland Empire chapter of the Autism Society of America for 2009. We will strive to always provide the most up-to-date copy here for you to download, but you can also check their website at ieautism.org.
The Autism Society of America – Inland Empire Chapter of America has developed this list of resources to better serve the children and individuals affected with an autism spectrum disorder, their parents and caregivers, and the professionals that serve them.
This is not an exhaustive list of all resources, but a list to help you identify resources, especially local resources. Resources are specific to Riverside and San Bernardino Counties, with the exception of Coachella Valley (see the Coachella Valley Autism Society at for Coachella Valley resources cvasa.org). Resources of interest within driving distance (San Diego and Orange Counties) and a few national resources are included as well.

Studies have shown that the first 100 days of an Autism Diagnosis are the hardest on families. You will be faced with questions such as:
Why was my child diagnosed with Autism?
What does it mean?
Why does my child need a diagnosis of Autism?
Use this guide to help bring some clarity and focus during your time of need. It’s an incredible wealth of information compiled by Autism Speaks – which is absolutely one of the best sites on the web for Autism information.

The National Autism Center has recently published their Manual for Educators…click on the icon below to download this informative manual that is both useful for parents and educators.

EBAY MissionFish Program
You can place items on Ebay and designate Our Nicholas Foundation as a beneficiary of all or part of your auction proceeds!
When listing an item on Ebay, it will ask you if you want to designate a portion or all to go to charity. After indicating yes, you will be able to do a search for Our Nicholas Foundation in their database and choose it accordingly.
Thank you for your support!
Donations
You are welcome to donate directly to Our Nicholas Foundation via the website. There is a “Donate” button on the side bar.
We also welcome payroll deduction opportunities…if your employer allows you to direct your contributions, let us know and we will coordinate with your Payroll Department! We can also come out and do presentations to your employees about Our Nicholas Foundation.
Another area that we are always looking for assistance in is for Auction items for our events!
Thanks!
